New Chevy Cruze

Governmental representatives including Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, Senator Tim Ryan, and numerous others gathered today for the first (purposeful) unveiling of the Chevy Cruze by GM Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner. The vehicle revealed today is a foam model of the Cruze, a finished product reveal will be coming up at the Paris Auto Show. GM will be investing $500 million dollars in small car development and production with $350 million of those monies being spent at the Lordstown Assembly plant. Wagoner stated production will begin in April 2010, with Cobalt/G5 production either ending then, or concurrent production continuing, dependant upon demand.
